Cirebon, August 28, 2026 — UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon (UINSSC) held the Pengenalan Budaya Akademik dan Kemahasiswaan (PBAK) for new students from August 26 to 28, 2026. The three-day orientation program provided an opportunity for new students to become familiar with the academic environment, student life, and various activities within the university.
As one of the study programs at UINSSC, the English Education Department (Tadris Bahasa Inggris) participated in the PBAK activities by welcoming and introducing new students to the academic culture of the department. The program served as an initial step for students to understand the learning environment, academic expectations, and opportunities available throughout their university journey.
During the three-day program, new students were introduced to various aspects of campus life, including academic procedures, student organizations, learning activities, and the values upheld by the university. The activities also encouraged students to build relationships with fellow students, lecturers, and members of the academic community.
For the English Education Department, PBAK is more than an orientation program. It is also an opportunity to introduce new students to the department’s academic environment and encourage them to become active, responsible, and engaged members of the university community.
The activities were conducted in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and togetherness. Through PBAK, new students are expected to be better prepared to begin their academic journey and actively participate in both academic and extracurricular activities.
